Chapter 20
As I'm waiting for dad to come, I search google on how to help stop the pain from the cuts. There was nothing that could actually help me. I turned my phone off, and sat staring at the wall. Fortunately, Dad came a few minutes later. He had a first aid kit in one hand, a foldable stretcher in the other. There was a distressed look on his face. Dad rushed over to me. He helped me clean the cuts and bandage them up. Then he gave me some pain medication, they helped a lot. After I stood up and got my balance, we helped Kylie. We lifted her on the stretcher and carried her to the elevator. When we got to the top, I went to the guest room and put our waterproof and stain proof sheets on the bed. Then we put Kylie on bed. I sat next to Kylie while Dad went to call someone he said " knows what to do ". I think that's called a doctor Dad. About half an hour later, a lady in a white lab coat comes in carrying a bag like the one from Mary Poppins. She looked like Albert Einstein except with really long hair. She was old, wait no sorry, I meant she was an elderly woman.
"Mom, this girl she was hit by the elysian orbs," Dad said.
Wait WHAT ?! Mom! I didn't know my grandma was still alive. I saw her grave stone and everything. Dad told me passed away of old age but apparently not, cause SHE IS LITERALLY STANDING IN FRONT OF ME RIGHT NOW. She looked at me and smiled a tight smile. I could tell it was because she was busy but she wanted me to know that she knew that I was there.
"Okay, I have the medicine in my purse, " says my...grandma?
Grandma takes out a small flask with a cork on the opening. It is a little smaller than the size of a tennis ball. She opens it and gives a few drops of the medicine to Kylie. Kylie swallows it and immediately we can see her getting better. Her bruises are quickly fading away but she is still sleeping. Dad and Grandma turn to look at me, seems like we all have a-lot of explaining to do.
